Date – check, location – check, guest list – check, invitations – check, flowers – check, dress – check, suit – check, decor – check, and the registry . . . here we go.

As strange as it was to come up with a list of things that we would like to ask for, we made it happen. We thought, “What do we remember from our childhood that our parents received for their wedding? What were those special things that only came out when there was company over? What were those special things that Mum & Dad remembered from their wedding.”

Let's be be bold and think a few years down the road. Let's think about a time when we eventually have our very own kitchen. How would we like our own home to feel? What would be on the counter? What would be in the cupboards? What special things will we bring out when company comes over? What will help us build our home together?

Well, The Bay has lots of stuff like that. Everyone knows about The Bay. If you're out of town, it's easy to go online, and items show up right in the Victoria store. Here is our OnlineBay Registry.

How about some other options. There's a store in town called Cook Culture. They offer couples cooking classes, and have a great selection of cool cooking toys. They have everything from pasta rollers, to won ton wrappers. “Wouldn't it be cool to make a few world cusine inspired packages? We could even include a class to learn the new pasta maker skills!” Here is a pdf document of our registry.  It's also available in store.

Cook Culture is located in The Atrium Building in Downtown Victoria.

Have you heard of Capital Iron? There's certainly no store like it:) The store itself is a piece of Victoria's history. Beginning as a scrap buisiness in the '30s, they now carry a line of Lodge Cast Iron Cookware that's totally awesome. “Can you imagine us cooking baked beans over a fire with that iron pot for the next 60 years? What about cooking pancakes and bacon for a crowd on that flattop?” Capital Iron was also almost always on the Kilshaw & Son's Saturday morning-pick-up-stuff-to-fix-the-house tour. It's a good memories store.

Dream Design winds cotton. They wind the kind of sheets you look forward to curling up in at the end of a good day of baking or biking. They make the good stuff we would never pick up for ourselves, but would love to enjoy it. Dream Design is located on the mainland. Our registry is in store.
